Join us in our Farm Kitchen at Ings between Windermere and Staveley Village. Enjoy a relaxed drink and meal with amazing views of the fields towards Windermere through the large picture window. If the weather’s nice, sit outside and enjoy watching farm life go by.
Our menu is always being developed, and we’re passionate about using as much of our own farm-reared high quality Lakeland produce as possible. This not only provides an excellent taste to our menu, but also helps us reduce our food-miles considerably, and our impact on the environment … which are all very important to us.
We’re fully licensed, so you can enjoy a drink with your meal, or relax outside and take in the Lake District views.
FREE Parking available.

Big Lad or Ladette Steak. Considered to have more flavour than other cuts, this tender, good everyday steak is taken from the lower back of the animal.
This is one of the most popular cuts of beef and often the steak lovers first choice. It has a fine, but firm texture and a richness in flavour.
THE CHEFS FAVOURITE. Well marbled, tender and flavoursome. So flavoursome because there is marbling in the steak.
This centre cut fillet is the prime cut. This is the leanest, succulent and tender of all the steaks.
Succulent fell bred from our own farm. The Herdwick diet of wild grass and forage, and environment (uo tp 1000ft) give the breed a distinctive gamey flavour.
