The aim for the livestock shows in the arena is to help educate about why the Lake District looks like it does ... a working landscape.  You'll be introduced to the some of the different types of livestock we have on the farm and hear about the important role that they play in shaping and maintaining this beautiful vista that millions come to see each year, and that recently been awarded World Heritage Status. 
 
View the traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation that delivers the sustainability of heritage and culture of these rural communities. 
 
The demonstrations that are available in the Arena, will change with the seasons to demonstrate the different jobs that are taking place on the farm throughout the year.
 
Ever wanted to ask a farmer a question ... now is your chance. The show will end with a Q&A session with Isaac.

Notice About Dogs - We have made the hard decision NOT to allow dogs at the Lakeland Farm Visitor Centre (or left in vehicles at the centre).  We haven't made this decision lightly, but to ensure the safety and welfare of our livestock we felt it necessary. 

We thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
